CALLING THE POLICE DEPT. - In late February we received this message from Jeff Moore, Crime Prevention Officer, Carrollton Police Dept., "There was a disturbance involving two adult children of a resident who lives on Mary Lane. Apparently the argument spilled out onto the street but they left before the officers arrived.  The officers went and knocked at 1104 to see if that was where the disturbance was coming from but no one was at home.  We got two calls initially about the argument but the callers hung up before dispatch could get anymore information.  Then we got a third call from the house where the disturbance had happened.  When we get calls like this an officer gets dispatched to each of the calls because we don't know if it is is related or not.  It is important for callers to remain on the line and answer all the questions the dispatcher has so we can try and determine what is actually happening."
